Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences Preceptors Preceptors engage in furthering the learning experience of our NP students and build upon the didactic content, online or in classroom, received by students and provide clinical hands on opportunities in a variety of clinical settings. more... Preceptors develop a partnership with Binghamton University and NP students and share a great deal of their time, knowledge and expertise in helping students grow both personally and professionally as independent advanced practice providers. Preceptors are essential to the success of the student and the continued growth of the Binghamton University Decker School of Nursing Graduate Program. Requirements: Masters prepared, nationally certified as NP, unencumbered NP and RN license in NY or PA (or other state if in precepting for the psych program), and preferred two years of clinical experience. Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences Standardized Patient Volunteer Assist the Simulation Lab team and faculty members with acting as a standardized patient for Graduate students as needed.
