Preceptors develop a partnership with Binghamton University and NP students and share a great deal of their time, knowledge and expertise in helping students grow both personally and professionally as independent advanced practice providers. Preceptors are essential to the success of the student and the continued growth of the Binghamton University Decker School of Nursing Graduate Program. Requirements: Masters prepared, nationally certified as NP, unencumbered NP and RN license in NY or PA (or other state if in precepting for the psych program), and preferred two years of clinical experience.
