Office of Alumni Engagement Alumni Association Board Member Serve in a leadership capacity with the Alumni Association Board of Directors. This 23-member, all-volunteer body actively partners with Alumni Engagement staff to craft and implement a diverse set of programming intended to engage all 120,000+ alumni in the life of the University. Alumni Global Day of Service is held each spring to unite alumni in meaningful and impactful service projects within their communities. more... Site leaders will manage a service project in their community, coordinate with the service site, communicate with alumni who volunteer to assist with the project, welcome alumni on the day of the event, and document the event. Alumni Golf Classic Planning Committee Volunteer Assist with the annual Alumni Golf Classic tournament in the Binghamton area as a member of the planning committee. Participation in this volunteer opportunity includes attending 3-5 committee meetings leading up to the tournament, soliciting local businesses for raffle items and sponsorships and participating in the tournament as a player or volunteer. Proceeds from the tournament support the Alumni Association’s Legacy Scholarship. Cool Connections, Hot Alumni Series Speaker Alumni volunteers with hot careers and ideas needed to share career advice with students in this cool speaker series. The Alumni Association and The Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development co-host the Cool Connections, Hot Alumni speaker series which may take place either virtually or in-person on campus. more... Regional Chapter Council Member Engaging a growing alumni body – now more than 130,000 and counting – spread across the globe is no easy task. As a council member, you may help to plan events, coordinate service projects for Alumni Global Day of Service, and engage alumni.
